Theodore Hughes, Korea Foundation Professor of Korean Studies in the Humanities and Director of the Center for Korean Research, and Charles K. Armstrong, Korea Foundation Professor of Korean Studies in the Social Sciences, were featured in the November 14, 2017 Columbia News article “Columbia Scholars Offer Critical Context on North Korea.”

“It’s urgent to move toward a dialogue,” said Professor Armstrong. “The military option is not realistic or acceptable. It’s just too dangerous.”
