THE YEAR IN REVIEW
In 2024 the Weatherhead East Asian Institute marked its 75th anniversary year with a series of events that both celebrated its legacy and signaled its commitment to advancing the study of Northeast, Inner, and Southeast Asia. Most noteworthy was a summer tour to seven Asian cities — Tokyo, Taipei, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Beijing — that allowed the Institute to collaborate with new local partners and simultaneously reconnect with overseas alumni.
