Southeast Asia
As a founding member of the New York Southeast Asia Network and an expanding center for scholarship on Vietnam and other ASEAN countries, the Weatherhead East Asian Institute is committed to fostering the study of Southeast Asia in the United States. The Institute regularly hosts public events featuring guests from academia, government, the nonprofit sector, and the arts discussing the history, politics, economics, and culture of the region. Through its Master of Arts in Regional Studies - East Asia program, the Institute provides graduate students the opportunity to take courses on a wide variety of topics concerning Southeast Asia.
