The N. T. Wang Distinguished Lecture

The N. T. Wang Distinguished Lecture, presented annually since 2010 by the Weatherhead East Asian Institute in collaboration with the Jerome A. Chazen Institute for Global Business, has provided internationally renowned experts on the Chinese economy an opportunity to share their work with the Columbia community.

The lecture series is named in honor of Dr. Nian Tzu Wang (1917–2004), who foresaw the enormous potential of the Chinese economy and recognized the need to promote greater understanding of developments in Chinese international business relations and their implications. Dr. Wang spearheaded the China international Business Seminar at Columbia University and brought together practitioners, policy makers, and scholars to create a new dialogue between government, business, and research communities.

Visit the Chazen Institute website for a comprehensive overview of the series.
