Korea
Through the Center for Korean Research, the Weatherhead East Asian Institute hosts public events and scholarly workshops about Korean history, politics, economics, and culture. Additionally, the Institute supports undergraduate and graduate research as well as publications about the region, and collaborates with Columbia University Press on a Korean Studies Book Initiative to publish an academic monograph each year in the field of Korean studies. Through its Master of Arts in Regional Studies - East Asia program, the Institute also provides graduate students the opportunity to take courses on a wide variety of topics concerning the Korean Peninsula.
