Join us for a screening of Daughter of the Light (2024), a deeply moving feature documentary by Tibetan filmmaker Khashem Gyal. The film follows a thirteen-year-old girl named Metok as she navigates the emotional complexities of her parents’ divorce in a rural town, set against the backdrop of generational and social change. A panel discussion will follow the screening.
This event is part of the Asia in Action series and is presented in conjunction with the Tibetan Education: Theory and Praxis workshop on April 24, 2026.
