Speaker: Hung-dah Su, Professor and Jean Monnet Chair of Department of Political Science at National Taiwan University, Director General of the European Union Centre in Taiwan

Moderator: Andrew J. Nathan, Class of 1919 Professor of Political Science, Department of Political Science, Columbia University

Professor Su is an expert on EU and Trans-Atlantic relations with and attitudes toward the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. He has a Doctorat en histoire, Université de Paris-Sorbonne, France (1998) and Diplôme du droit européen, Université de Panthéon-Sorbonne (1995). Besides the positions listed above, he is a Research Fellow of the Institute of European and American Studies at Academia Sinica, Chief editor of Book Series on the European Union Studies in Taiwan, Council Member of the Jean Monnet Foundation for Europe in Lausanne, Switzerland, and former President of European Union Studies Association Asia-Pacific (EUSA AP) between 2017 and 2018. He will lecture on the indicated topic and engage in Q & A.
