Have you ever thought of working in Vietnam with its booming economy? Have you ever wanted to travel to the legendary beaches of Danang or were curious about how delicious pho tastes in Hanoi? Have you ever explored the idea of doing research or studying in Ho Chi Minh City?

Columbia University provides a diverse array of opportunities, ranging from internships and full career networking in Vietnam, exposure to Arts & Culture such as sustainable fashion, contemporary film, and pop music, to cutting edge research and study via our rich content and language curriculum. If you're interested in learning more, please join us for Vietnam Unlocked, a special online event on Friday, April 9 from 9am-12pm EST featuring a variety of special guests that will address working, living, and learning in and about Vietnam.

First Hour (9-10am): Speakers from the Columbia Alumni Association (CAA) members based in Ho Chi Minh City, including Mr. Peter Mach, managing partner and co-founder of Tanzanite International and Ms. Lien Hoang, journalist at Nikkei Asia, who will discuss internship and career opportunities in Vietnam.

Second Hour (10-11am): Global Vietnamese culture and travel showcasing sustainable Hanoi-based fashion designer Vũ Thảo, creator of Kilomet109, as well as Columbia undergrad and DJ Thomas Ngo, on contemporary Vietnamese pop music.

Third Hour (11-12pm): The final hour will explore the diversity of learning on Morningside campus and in Vietnam through the Vietnam Studies Program, including Vietnamese-focused faculty, the Vietnamese Student Association, and more. Come with questions! Don't forget to bring your resumés, curiosity, and questions to our event since you will be able to connect and network with Vietnamese business professionals, cultural leaders and creators, and leading academics.
