The Weatherhead East Asian Institute and the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) cordially invite you to "Vietnam on Screen," an evening celebrating Vietnamese cinema. Join us for a special program of conversation, community, and film:

    Panel Discussion

    • Moderated by Tony Bui, WEAI Artist-in-Residence, director of Three Seasons, and curator of the Criterion Channel’s Legacies of War series
    • Kiều Chinh, legendary actress
    • Catherine T. Nguyễn, acclaimed director and producer
    • And other leading voices in Vietnamese cinema

    Opening remarks by Ambassador Do Hung Viet, Permanent Representative of Viet Nam to the United Nations

    Film Screening: Skin of Youth


The panel discussion and film screening will take place at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center (144 W 65th St, New York, NY 10023). The reception will be held nearby at the Frieda and Roy Furman Gallery, located inside the Walter Reade Theater (165 W 65th St, New York, NY 10023). Admission to the panel discussion and reception is free.
