About APAC

The Asia Pacific Affairs Council (APAC) is a SIPA-based student organization that is open to all Columbia students interested in East, Inner, and Southeast Asian affairs. Founded and run by students, APAC serves the entire university community by organizing social, academic and career-related events and programming; distributing information and news (via the annual APAC Journal); and coordinating East Asia-related activities while building a community for students interested in the region. APAC is supported by the Weatherhead East Asian Institute and serves as the student-led branch of the Institute.
