An innovative new place-based program combines agriculture, fishing, conservation, and intensive academic study.  

Comprehensive two-day event models new approaches to scholarly inquiry and offers a chance to hear Tibetan and Himalayan perspectives on ways of living with climate change.

Running from May 21 to June 7, 2026, the not-for-credit program is open to Columbia, Barnard, and Kyushu University undergraduates and MA students.
