In the aftermath of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, Beijing and Washington will have to recalibrate expectations and strategies for managing their complex geopolitical ties. Rising tensions in critical regions, competition in emerging technologies, and economic development in China are key flashpoints that threaten the delicate balance of power. Join us for an engaging discussion as we explore these pressing issues and their implications for the future of U.S.-China relations and global stability.

Mr. Ronnie Chan, Honorary Chair of Hang Lung Properties and Chair Emeritus of the Asia Society, will share his views on the evolving dynamics that will shape the future of global politics. Mr. Chan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the National Committee on United States-China Relations. He is also a former governing board member of the World Economic Forum, the East-West Center, the Pacific Council on International Policy, and Eisenhower Fellowships. A frequent speaker at international conferences, he has published numerous articles in the Financial Times and other outlets.
