The Weatherhead East Asian Institute is pleased to introduce the Yu San Ma Taiwan Fellowship — financial support for Columbia students at all levels, undergraduate and postgraduate, who are committed to outstanding work centered on Taiwan.
Projects in all disciplines, including the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, technology, arts and literature, and business will all be considered for this highly competitive opportunity. Students pursuing fellowships, research projects, internships, and other experiential learning activities are invited to apply.
(Please note: The fellowship doesn’t support language study alone, but may support research projects focused on Taiwan that incorporate some language study.)
Fellowship details
- The deadline for all summer 2026 and academic year 2026–27 applications is March 13, 2026.
