Carol Gluck discusses 'comfort women' and 'apology fatigue' with NPR

In a November 29 interview with NPR titled "Philippine Survivor Recounts Her Struggle As A 'Comfort Woman' In Japan," Professor Carol Gluck highlighted the international impact of activism by comfort women and described "apology fatigue" among Japanese government leadership.

"The trouble with apology fatigue is that it's contagious - so that other people in Japan say, well, yes, by the way, we have apologized. Why do we need to keep apologizing?"
