The Weatherhead East Asian Institute congratulates MARSEA student Milton Wong Tze Sheng for winning the Bretton Woods Committee's Henry Owen Memorial Award for his essay discussing prospects for International Financial Institutions (IFI) to respond to current global challenges.
This contest asked graduate-level students to expand on ways in which the IFIs can work together to adapt to new global challenges and create a resilient, equitable, and sustainable post-pandemic economy. The Bretton Woods Committee described Milton’s essay as "well-focused and well-reasoned, and it presented forward-thinking, creative solutions and ideas for IFIs cooperation."
