Timothy Yang and Andrew Liu awarded prizes by the 2022 Business History Conference

Timothy Yang and Andrew Liu, authors of two titles in the Studies of the Weatherhead East Asian Institute series, were recently awarded prizes by the 2022 Business History Conference. Timothy Yang's A Medicated Empire won the Hagley Prize for best book in business history, awarded jointly by the Hagley Museum and Library and the Business History Conference, and Andrew Liu’s Tea War: A History of Capitalism in India and China won the Ralph Gomory Prize.
