US-ASEAN Futures Symposium Seeking Student, Recent Graduate, and Young Professional Delegates

The US-ASEAN Futures Symposium is a consultation platform for youth from the United States and ASEAN Member States to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue. The Symposium supports the US-ASEAN Strategic Partnership by raising awareness of global issues and promoting the exchange of ideas among future leaders. Delegates will collaborate to deliver actionable and achievable policy recommendations for the future of US-ASEAN relations.

The Symposium is seeking delegates who have met the following criteria:

1. A promising future young leader of ASEAN Member States or the United States - undergraduate/graduate student, recent graduate, young professional;
2. Be aged between 18 and 35;
3. Be fluent in English (speaking, writing, and reading);
4. Have strong academic, professional, or volunteering experience and deep knowledge of the thematic focus areas;
5. Have demonstrated their capacity in key leadership positions;
6. Have a strong interest in foreign policy and/or global issues related to US-ASEAN relations;
7. Demonstrate strong cultural awareness and understanding;
8. Be able to attend and commit to the full duration of the US-ASEAN Futures Symposium, including both online preparation and post-Symposium deliverables.
