Professor Carol Gluck gave a presentation on "Five Ways to Look at a Dark Past" about transgenerational war memory in East Asia at a webinar on Representing the Absent in Luxembourg on December 2. Hosted by the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law, legal scholars and social scientists addressed the question of how past and future generations are represented in procedures and processes seeking justice, whether for historical grievance or such future-related issues as climate change.
